In terms of patient to physician relationships, one of the most
lacking areas is communication. It is difficult for the patient to
understand everything that may be happening because many times they
do not know what questions to ask, or because the physician explains
things in such a way that the patient does not fully understand. In
order to help build a bridge between patient understanding and
medical terminology, we have provided this glossary conveniently
separated into two sections below. If for some reason you are
