Dr. Wood M. Deming, FACC, earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from
University of TN Center for Health Sciences in 1975 and served his
medicine residencies at UT Hospital of Memphis. His cardiology
fellowship was completed at Dwight David Eisenhower Army/Medical
Center in 1981 during a stand in the US Army at that location,
leaving the Army with a rank of Major.
Dr. Deming has a profound
interest in both interventional cardiology, noninvasive imaging and
cardiomyopathy. He has performed electrophysiology studies and
permanent pacemaker implants since 1978. Dr. Deming founded Regional
Cardiology Consultants in October of 1987. Dr. Deming is board
certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and is
a member of the American Heart Association, the American College of
Physicians, the American College of Cardiology, and the American
Society of Angiology.
